Get Far Far Away

The rain poured, washing away our footprints. This is what had become of Emily and I. We were runaways. We ran away from our only home - too different to live in our old life. Everything was different after we were attacked.
"Bobby, where are we going?"
"I don't know little sis'. Just away."

The Familiar Family of Friends

Friends are always there for me
With trust and honesty.
The weird ones without coordination
Are the ones I love most.

The bonds of sisterhood
Connect us.
Rejoicing in connections,
They are a piece of me.
They are the warm innocence,
The thought of light memories,
The rhythm of belonging.

My vampires who give hugs,
My Harry Potter encyclopedias,
My friends with colorful vocabularies,
The weird ones
Without coordination.

The Coliseum

The time of the Gods
Arises in Italy
Gladiators fight

Autumn

Brisk air breathes softly
Elegance in falling leaves
September is gone
